About Waynesburg University

Waynesburg University is a private, Christian, liberal arts college located in Waynesburg, which is a borough in the US state of Pennsylvania, serving as the county seat of Greene County, with a population of more than 4000 inhabitants, at the time of the 2000 census.

The university was established in 1849 and was founded by the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. It is a member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities, and offers its students over 70 degree options, including graduate and doctorate programs, the top 5 areas being Business, Communication, Education, Sciences (as in Nursing), and Law.

Athletics
